Oldbury man accused of murdering Paramajit Kaur unable to enter plea due to being in the hospital wing

The man accused of murdering Paramjit Kaur in Oldbury in March was unable to enter a plea at his latest court hearing.

Harminder Mattu, aged 50, is charged with the murder of Paramjit Kaur on Sunday, March 30, this year. 

Mattu's plea and trial-preparation hearing was at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday (Friday).

Paramjit was found with serious injuries at an address in Swan Crescent around 8.20am on Monday, March 31, and was confirmed dead at the scene.

Mattu was not in the dock to enter a plea. His lawyer told the court that the prison had confirmed Mattu was currently being held in the jail hospital.
