A Lichfield city centre burger restaurant has applied for a licence to serve alcohol and stage live music.

Patty Freaks in Market Street has applied for an alcohol licence to operate between 11am and 11pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11am-midnight on Friday.

The company opened its first permanent site in the city in 2022 and started as a pop up stall.

Now billed as serving 'award-winning freaky burgers', the restaurant in the City Arcade also offers retro gaming, theme nights, special menus and merchandise.

The full application can be viewed by appointment only at the Lichfield District Council offices in Frog Lane or to make representations email licensing@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
