Home burglary suspect arrested within 10 minutes in Sandwell
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of burglary after a house was robbed in Sandwell this morning (April 23).
The quick response came after police were alerted to a break-in at an address on Hallam Street in West Bromwich just after 2.25am.
Officers were on the scene and arrested a suspect within 10 minutes of the call.
A 39-year-old man is now in custody on suspicion of burglary.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We know the devastation which burglary can cause, having an intruder in your home looking to take your belongings.
"So we're committed to identifying and arresting those who commit such crimes."
