Teenager arrested in hospital after high speed chase through Walsall ends with him crashing into a lamppost
A 17-year-old was arrested in hospital after crashing a car in Walsall following a police chase last night (Friday).
Police were searching for the young driver of the Mini Cooper after a cyclist was knocked down in Mossley Lane around 4.30pm on Good Friday.
After putting out a full alert to officers in the Black Country the car was spotted in Willenhall a few hours after his capture became a top priority for the force.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We've arrested a teenager following a collision in Bloxwich yesterday afternoon (18 April).
