'I haven't got a clue about shotguns - people just send me videos,' says defendant in Connor Brookes trial
A Connor Brookes murder trial defendant denied knowing anything about shotguns after being confronted with videos and screenshots on his phone of guns.
Samuel Danks-Petty, 20, was giving evidence at Wolverhampton Crown Court where his co-defendants Byron Sellick, 20, Jake Sanbrook, aged 23, and Julian Falconer, 20, who are charged with murder.
Danks-Petty is charged with intent to pervert the course of justice with the prosecution alleging he helped organise the drive-by shooting of Connor Brookes at Well Lane on July 8, last year.
Danks-Petty, of Buildwas Close, Mossley, had another feisty day in the witness box as he told jurors, barristers and Judge Michael Chambers about his social media usage being normal for a man of his age.

When shown a video on his phone of men in balaclavas with a shotgun, he said: "I think it was from when we went to a shooting range earlier that year. But I do not know. That's what I think but I would be lying if I said it was definitely there.
