A man has appeared in court charged with nine offences - including an assault in Newport.

Ryan Twardun, 32, of Shakeford, Hinstock, near Market Drayton, appeared at Telford Magistrates Court this morning.

Twardun faces a number of charges - including one relating to an alleged incident in Newport on Sunday, March 8.
