Man charged after 13-year-old girl was struck by car in Birmingham
Police have charged a man with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after a collision in Birmingham.
Mervyn Boreland, aged 49, from Kings Norton, will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Thursday (20 March) for a first hearing.
The girl was struck by a car on Holly Lane, Erdington, just before 5.30pm on May 27 2023.
She was taken to hospital in a critical condition and is still recovering.
