A school girl has been left 'shaken and bruised' after being struck by a car in Sedgley.

The incident happened on the A459 High Street as pupils were leaving Dormston School at around 3.30pm.

The youngster was treated at the scene by a passing ambulance and taken to hospital

Another girl was also hit by the same car but was thankfully not injured.

Louise Isherwood, who owns a catering business and works at Interchoice Holidays, said she had just left the office on the nearby High Street when she 'heard a bang'. 

She described the moment that she realised someone had been hit.
