Police launch appeal following robbery in Dudley

Police have launched an appeal following a robbery in Dudley.

West Midlands Police are asking for help in looking for a man they want to talk to following a robbery on a canal path in Meadow Park Road, Dudley, on February 3.

The incident took place between 2pm to 2.30pm, and saw a man and his daughter approached by another man before being threatened and made to hand over items of value. 

Following enquiries at the scene, police have launched an investigation into the incident, releasing an image of the man they wish to talk too in relation to the robbery.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "The man threatened them and made them hand over their valuables before making off.

"Following enquiries at the scene, we are releasing this image in the hope someone with more information can come forward."
