Arrests in Birmingham foot chase case after gun, machetes and drugs seized
Two Birmingham men have been charged with firearms offences after a foot chase yesterday.
Adnan Haider, aged 21 of Saltley, has been charged with firearm offences, possession of a bladed article, and driving whilst disqualified and without insurance.
Dayyan Mahmood, aged 19, also of Birmingham, has been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of a bladed article.
Both been remanded in custody and were due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Saturday (Feb 22).
Their arrests follow an incident when officers seized a shotgun, machetes and class B drugs after a pursuit on foot in the Washwood Heath area on February 21.
