Two men arrested on suspicion of murder after man in 60s dies in Birmingham
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man in his 60s died of serious injuries.
The victim was found injured at a property in Warwick Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham, at about 2.55pm on Saturday (February 1), West Midlands Police said.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
Two men, who police say were known to the victim, have been arrested on suspicion of his murder.
A statement by West Midlands Police said: "A 44-year-old remains in police custody while a 62-year-old has been released on police bail.
"Investigations are continuing with door-to-door enquiries being carried out as we work to establish the exact circumstances.
"CCTV and doorbell footage are also being retrieved and reviewed as our enquiries continue.
