Detective Superintendent Jim Munro, leading Operation Fearless, said: “Days like this are at the heart of what we’re trying to achieve with this dedicated operation.

“Taking drugs, weapons, and illicit goods off the streets – and arresting offenders - are key to driving down crime in Erdington and across the West Midlands.

“We are listening to what people in the area are telling us, and we will continue to act on their concerns.”

Lead Trading Standards Officer Mohammed Tariq added: “This is another example of fantastic partnership work between Birmingham Trading Standards, and the Operation Fearless team.

“We will continue to work with our partners to make Birmingham a safe and healthy place for local residents and communities.

“Let this be a warning to rogue traders that if you supply illicit and unsafe goods they will be seized and further legal action will be taken if you break the law.”
