'It's absolutely terrifying': Residents speak of shock after man is found dead in 'quiet' estate and 36-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder
Residents have shared their concerns following the tragic death of a man on their road, while another man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
"I couldn't believe it when I saw all the police this morning, it's terrifying" - Those are the words of Andy Clewes, a resident of Swancote Road, Dudley, who was surprised this morning when he heard of the death of a 40-year-old man only doors away.
The shock comes after emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.30am on Saturday, where on arrival they found the 40-year-old man with injuries.
Sadly, despite the efforts of medical teams, nothing could be done to save him.
Following enquiries, a 36-year-old man was arrested by West Midlands Police on suspicion of murder, with the man remaining in custody while enquiries continue.
