'Large amount' of cash taken in break-in at Halesowen football club bar - police launch investigation
A "large amount" of cash was taken in a burglary at a Black Country football club's bar, West Midlands Police has confirmed.
The force is investigating the break-in which happened at The Yeltz Bar, next to the Halesowen Town Football Club grounds on Old Hawne Lane, in the early hours of New Year's Day.
A police spokesman added that a "large amount" of damage was also caused during the burglary.
He said: "We are investigating after a large amount of cash was stolen in a burglary in Halesowen.
"In the early hours of New Year’s Day, a large amount of cash was stolen from the Yeltz Bar in Old Hawne Lawne.
