Man charged after New Year's Eve stabbing in Birmingham
A man has been charged with attempted murder after two women and a man were stabbed in Birmingham on New Year’s Eve (31 Dec).
Earl Johnson, aged 65, has been charged with three counts of attempt murder and two counts of possession of a knife.

Johnson, from Birmingham, was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Thursday, January 2).
This comes after two women, aged 18 and 20 and a 25-year-old man were attacked on Doncaster Way, Hodge Hill.
The 20-year-old woman remains in a serious condition in hospital.
