Restaurants and takeaways in Shropshire, Sandwell, Staffordshire and Dudley are among dozens from across the country to have been named on the semi-final list for the British Kebab Awards.
The awards ceremony honours Britain's best kebab chefs, restaurants and takeaways, with the winners being unveiled on February 26 at a ceremony at the Park Plaza Westminster Hotel in London.
Kebab fans can vote for their favourite restaurants in the national categories of Best Delivery, Best Greek Restaurant and/or Takeaway, Best Kosher Shawarma Restaurant and/or Takeaway, Best Lebanese Restaurant and/or Takeaway, Best Value Restaurant, Best Vegan Kebab (Restaurant or Takeaway), Chef of the Year, Customer Satisfaction, Fine Dining Restaurant, Kebab Van of the Year, Supplier and Manufacturer Award.

Across the region, there are seven restaurants and takeaways which have been shortlisted in four of the categories.
Meze Greek Restaurant in Ellesmere and Mr Souvlaki in Stourbridge have both been shortlisted for the best Best Greek Restaurant and/or Takeaway, with Mr Souvlaki owner Michail Charkoutsakis saying he was very excited to be on the shortlist and said it was testament to all the hard work by the staff.
He said: "We've been working hard for five years to provide top quality Greek food and we never change the quality and we are quite cheap compared to other restaurants because of our strong contacts in Greece.
"Everything we do is fresh and it's my job and my life, so I love it and I enjoy walking down the street in Stourbridge and meeting people who like my cooking.

"It's down to the hard work we put in, the quality of the meat, how we marinade it, how we grill it and all the preparation that goes into it."
Another Stourbridge restaurant to be nominated in the Customer Satisfaction category is Anatolia Grill, Bar and Restaurant, alongside Mount Nemrut Turkish Restaurant in Bearwood.
In the Best Kebab Restaurant Regional category, Meze Turkish Mediterranean & Grill in Cannock has been shortlisted, while two Shropshire takeaways, Family Kebab House in Oswestry and Kebab King Madeley in Telford are shortlisted for Best Delivery.
Ibrahim Dogus, founder of the British Kebab Awards, said: “Kebabs are a staple of our national diet, and it’s time to decide on Britain’s favourite kebab restaurants of the year.
“The nominees represent everything from traditional family-run establishments to innovative new ventures that are pushing the boundaries with vegan options and fine dining experiences.

“There’s incredible representation from across the UK in the semi-finalists, with nominees from Belfast to Brighton, and Arbroath to London. Hidden gems in small towns are competing against prestigious city restaurants, proving that amazing kebabs can be found everywhere.
“This year's nominees represent everything that makes the British kebab industry special - diversity, quality, tradition, and innovation, and we’re proud to be highlighting the leaders in this great industry."
