Fire crews battle Christmas Day house fire in Great Barr
Four fire engines were called out to deal with a fire in a house's roof space in Great Barr on Christmas evening.
Crews from Perry Barr, West Bromwich and Handsworth were called to reports of a fire in the roof space of a house in Great Barr at around 7.22pm on Wednesday (December 25).
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands Fire Service said: "We were called out to reports of a house fire in Great Barr at 7.22pm.
"Four appliances from Perry Barr, West Bromwich and Handsworth arrived at the scene to find a small fire which was contained in the roof space.
"The crews used hose reels to extinguish the fire, with no injuries reported, and it was reported as out at 9.07pm."
