Police in Brierley Hill stop Audi car with smashed windshield - driver arrested

A driver was arrested after police stopped a car due to its poor condition - including having a smashed windshield.

Officers in Brierley Hill noticed several issues with the Audi and brought it to a halt while on patrol.

Pictures issued by Brierley Hill Police on X, formerly Twitter, just after 6pm on Thursday (December 19) show a huge smash in the windshield of the vehicle and damage near to a front tyre.

The driver was also found to have no insurance and no valid MOT for the car.

Writing to X, Brierley Hill Police added the male also provided a positive drug test.

He was arrested on suspicion of driving over a specified drug limit while the uninsured vehicle was seized.
