Three arrested after police tactically halts vehicle 'involved in £800 booze theft' in Smethwick
Traffic cops managed "used tactics" to stop a vehicle that had allegedly been involved in the theft of alcohol and fuel.
West Midlands Police interceptors confirms on X (Twitter) that the three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and that the driver was a wanted man.
They shared an image of the white MG, brandishing a 'no insurance' sticker across the back window, after being stopped in Smethwick.
In the post, police wrote: "E Unit #ANPRinterceptors used tactics to stop this car in Smethwick after it had just been involved in an £800 alcohol theft & a previous fuel theft as well.
"The driver was wanted for a robbery & a burglary plus he had no license or insurance so all 3 occupants were arrested."
