Poorly brother inspires teen's pageant bid
A determined teenager has set her sights on the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain title after being inspired by her little brother's battle against a rare heart condition.
Sadie Williams must first win the title of Miss Junior Teen Dudley, which will bag her a place in the finals at The Globe Theatre in Blackpool later this year.
To win the title, the 14-year-old, from Hillmeads Drive, Dudley, has to raise the most money for children's charity Together for Short Lives by July 1.

It is an important cause for Sadie, as her younger brother Mason, aged six, was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, meaning that this side of his heart is underdeveloped, affecting blood flow.
Her family, including mother Melodie, her father Paul, and Sadie and Mason's other siblings Harmonie and Dominic, are right behind her.
Sadie, a pupil at Health Futures UTC in West Bromwich, is also keen to take part in the Miss Junior Teen event because it means following in her mother's footsteps.
"My mum has done pageants before so she is helping me," she said.
"I want to raise as much money as possible. I have set up a JustGiving page and we are looking to do a charity day at school, a mufti day and a cake sale."
Sadie is hoping to end up working in her dream career as a paediatrician, also prompted by her experience in supporting her brother.
Four overall winners, aged between 11 and 19, will be crowned Little Miss Teen Great Britain, Miss Junior Teen Great Britain, Miss Teen Great Britain and World Teen Supermodel UK at the final in Blackpool.
Since launching in 2012 the competition has raised more than £110,000 for its chosen charities.
