Mr Mole's four-year-old daughter Daisy-Hope was rushed to hospital last week after showing symptoms of meningitis.

But catching the meningococcal infection early prevented Daisy-Hope developing full meningitis.

She is now back home after being given the all clear by doctors.

Mr Mole has thanked fans and the hospital after a 'whirlwind' few days.

He said: "I'm obviously delighted. Its been a really difficult seven days but Daisy has been so brave throughout. It's a blessing that she's been discharged.

"I would like to thank the medical staff for their hard work and due diligence. I would also like to thank all the Walsall supporters who took the time to wish us well and Daisy-Hope who was just so brave."

Mr Mole has also urged parents to be vigilant as his daughter had been diagnosed very early as she had a rash under her eye and was rushed to the emergency child assessment unit. This meant doctors could prevent it leading to full bacterial meningitis.
