Man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter bailed after death following altercation outside pub
A man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after another man died after an altercation outside a West Bromwich pub, has been bailed while the investigation continues.
The 61-year-old was confirmed dead at the scene outside the Queens Head pub in West Bromwich at around 11pm on Friday night.
A post mortem will take place to determine the cause of death, and the scene in Church Lane has been cordoned off while investigations take place.
West Midlands Police Detective Inspector Jim Munro said: "We are currently investigating what has caused the death of this man and await the results of the post mortem.
"We believe there may have been an altercation with another man beforehand and would ask for any witnesses to call me as soon as possible."
