Water is once again running in the 19th century fountain in the market place.
This follows its revamp as part of the £6.7 million regeneration of the town centre.
Its water basins and decorative statues have been upgraded while new coloured curved glass has been added.
The most striking feature is the return of flowing water.
This has not been a feature of the landmark fountain since the middle of the last century.
