Driver clocked doing 137mph on M6 near Stafford was 'late to see his kids'
A driver who was clocked by police doing 137mph on the M6 near Stafford told them he was speeding because he was late to see his children.

The driver was stopped between Junction 14 and Juntion 15 of the motorway by police who was caught doing almost double the national speed limit.
Police described the driver's speed as "simply unacceptable".
