Young West Bromwich gardener has flower power
A young gardener has surprised everyone with his horticultural skills - with his first batch of sunflowers growing to 11ft in height.
Kaiden Handley, aged five, of West Bromwich gets up early every morning to tend to his beloved plants.
And he has proved a natural, with the sunflowers thriving to the point they now tower over him.

His proud grandad, Malcolm, aged 53, who is also a life-long gardening enthusiast, said the success was all down to Kaiden.
"All I have done is build the frame to support them," he said.
"Kaiden has done the rest. He gets up every morning with his watering can to look after the sunflowers and has done a wonderful job nurturing them.
"He is a natural. These are the first sunflowers he has every grown and most of them measure around 11ft with two just under 12ft. I am really proud of him."
Mr Handley, of Ruskin Street, said he had first become aware of his grandson's love of gardening when the pair were pottering around in the garden.
"I noticed he was messing with some of the plants and asked if he wanted to help me," he said.
"It all started from there. The way he takes in information is incredible."
Mr Handley said whenever there was a gardening programme on television he had to recorded it so Kaiden could watch it as well.
