Wolverhampton's Prince Albert venue could remain as bar
Licensing bosses say the listed building occupied by The Prince Albert could become another bar or nightclub in future as long as it is 'properly managed' and does not 'jeopardise the safety of visitors to the city'.

The venue's management is embroiled in a battle to stay open after its licence was taken away over violent incidents. They are planning to contest the decision, but say they will move to another venue outside the city should the appeal fail.
Councillor Alan Bolshaw, chairman of the authority's licensing committee, said: "The council is not against the premises itself being a part of the city's night time economy and any new licence application would be considered."
