Woman removed from car after M6 crash
A woman has been extricated from a car following a crash on the M6 in the Black Country.
The incident happened around 7.15pm this evening near junction 10 for Wolverhampton and Walsall and involved a white Ford Transit van and a blue Renault.
Two fire crews from Willenhall and Walsall attended.
A woman casualty was removed from the car on a long board although it is thought she avoided serious injuries.
A spokeswoman from West Midlands Fire Service said: "We received a call from police at 19.17 to a collision between a car and a van.
"It does not appear the injuries were serious but precautionary checks were carried out by the ambulance crews.
"A woman was removed from a vehicle on a long board.
"Fire crews left the incident in the hands of the police at 8pm."
