Dog rescued from kitchen fire

A dog has been rescued by firefighters from a kitchen fire in Brownhills.

The fire at a home in Chester Road started in a grill pan in a gas cooker at around 7.40pm, according to West Midlands Fire Service.

Crews from Aldridge and Chase Terrace were sent to the scene and worked alongside crews from Staffordshire Fire Service.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said nobody was injured in the fire.
