Car found in Staffordshire canal
Emergency services descended on a Staffordshire canal today when a car was spotted in the water.

There were fears someone was inside the car and police, paramedics and firefighters all attended.
However after extensive searches no one was found to be inside the car or the canal, in Four Ashes off Station Road.
Fire crews used thermal imaging equipment to scan the canal.
They were there at around 9am this morning and discovered the car had already been there for three hours.
Recovery teams removed the car from the canal.
