West Bromwich Road in Delves is being considered for up to four new traffic islands to help to slow down traffic.
Improvements are being looked at by specialist traffic officers. The roundabouts would be between Walstead Road and Greenside Way.
The overall scheme is estimated to cost £58,400 and work will be subject to the allocation of funds.
The local authority has been looking at a series of programmes to cut down on crashes in the borough. There are plans being considered to introduce a 20mph speed limit and more signs in Caldmore where there have also been accidents.
