Delays of an hour and traffic stopped on M6 for emergency bridge inspection

Traffic was stopped on the M6 southbound while an emergency bridge inspection was undertaken, causing delays of more than an hour.

All lanes have now reopened following the inspection between Junction 15 for Stoke South and Junction 14 for Stafford North.

Delays remain between Junctions 17 and 15.
