Caught on camera: Man left lying unconscious in street after vicious West Bromwich attack
Police are after information on this couple after a man was viciously attacked in the street - and left lying unconscious on the floor with a broken jaw.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, had witnessed an argument between a man and woman outside Kwik Save, Stone Cross in West Bromwich.
The shop customer asked if the woman was all right, when he was punched in the face by the man in the row, causing him to fall to the floor.
He was then headbutted and kicked as he lay on the ground. The man then ran off.
The attack took place on Sunday, February 8, at around 1am.
Police have described the attack as a vicious assault which left the man with a broken nose and fractured jaw.
The man was described as white, 5'10, stocky, with bald or very short hair, aged 24-25 and wearing a white t-shirt.
The offender continued to punch and kick the man, even after he lost consciousness. We are appealing for anyone who saw this attack or who recognises the pair pictured to call PC James Finnegan on 101 or call Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111.
