Caught on CCTV: Woman sought after violent Dudley attack
This is the woman police would like to speak to after a violent attack against another woman in Dudley town centre.
The 36-year-old woman was approached by the woman pictured, who, following a short verbal altercation, proceeded to kick, punch and slap her, causing her to fall to the ground, suffering scratches and grazes to her neck, arms, legs and hip.
The woman then continued to be abusive towards others in the street before walking off.
The woman is described as white, in her early 40s, 5'4-5 and slim, with shoulder-length dark curly hair and wearing a black leather jacket.
The assault took place between 12.30am and 1am on Sunday, December 14, in Tower Street.
DC Martyn Wynn, based in the Violence Team at Smethwick, said: "This was a sustained attack in the middle of a busy street just before Christmas-there were lots of people around and we are hoping someone will recognise this woman and contact us. There were a number of other people who were also abused who we would like to speak to.
"Anyone with information should call police on 101 or call Crimestoppers confidentially on 0800 555 111."
