This is the aftermath when a car smashed through a brick wall near a leisure centre and supermarket in Stourbridge town centre this afternoon.

Fire crews attended the accident off Bell Street at around 1pm despite many firefighters observing a 24 hour strike today.

Bricks and debris have been left scattered by the accident which happened when a parked car was rammed from behind by another vehicle.

The accident happened in the Stourbridge institute car park opposite the entrance to Crystal Leisure Centre and close to a ramp leading to the underground car park at Tesco Extra in the Crown Centre.
