The annual Cosford Food Festival will host some of the region's finest artisan-produced treats and cooked dishes.

The event, which runs from July 25 to July 26, will feature a twist this year as the museum's giant Hercules aircraft will act as a backdrop for a food market. About 80 exhibitors from across Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands will be tempting visitors with a wide range of fresh and hand-made produce.

The last two festivals have been attended by more than 15,000 people and a host of businesses have signed up to exhibit at this year's festival. Cosford's public events manager Abi Betteridge said: "The positive feedback we have received from past exhibitors and their eagerness to sign up for this year's festival is overwhelming.

"It's great to see so many fantastic award-winning producers wanting to get on board and be part of the event."
