Dudley man charged after chased down by three local heroes
A Dudley man will appear before magistrates this morning charged with attempted robbery and possessing a bladed weapon in public.

Ben Wilkes snatched a handbag from a woman, but was chased and pinned down by three members of the public who held onto him until police arrived.
Wilkes, of no fixed address, snatched the bag yesterday in Trindle Road, just after 8.30am.
Three have-a-go heroes chased the man to nearby Hillcrest Road.
The 27-year-old is charged with the theft of a handbag and possessing a bladed weapon in public.
Although badly shaken, the 49-year-old woman was unhurt.
