Controversial Cannock rehab centre to go ahead
Controversial plans to open a bedsit for recovering drug addicts in Cannock town centre are set to be given the go ahead by council bosses tomorrow.

The applicant, Burton Addiction Centre, wants to turn 91-93 High Green into a 12-bedroom supported house for ex-addicts on the path to recovery.
Under the proposed plans those living in the bedsit would run a tea room in the former Bistro 95 restaurant next door.
The application has received more than 50 letters of objection with concerns raised over the suitability of a central location.
However, the plans have been recommended for approval by council officers and will be discussed at a planning committee tomorrow.
