Armed police called after two injured in flat burglary above bar

Two people were injured when burglars demanded valuables from a man and a woman in a flat over a bar near Walsall.

Armed police were sent to the property above Mason's bar in Stafford Road shortly before midnight on February 3, when the bar was closed.

The suspects in the aggravated burglary are described as four men, two black and two white, wearing balaclavas and speaking with local accents.

They took a small amount of cash and personal jewellery from the two occupants, a man aged 31 and a 32-year-old woman. Both sustained minor injuries during the incident but fortunately, did not require hospital treatment.
