The fire started shortly after 2pm at Canton Delight on Brierley Hill High Street.
Brierley Hill Watch Commander Peter Cherrington said: "Three appliances in total were on the scene immediately after we received several calls about the incident.
"The fire was contained to an extractor fan unit at the back of the premises in the kitchen. Firefighters entered the property with breathing apparatus due to the premises being smoke-logged and the fire was out within half an hour."
One woman suffered minor burns to her hand after attempting to put the fire out herself but was treated at the scene.
