Private health firm opening to create 100 new jobs
A private healthcare company has opened a new base in Cannock and pledged to create 100 new jobs.
Newcross Healthcare has opened new offices in Hawks Green.
Bosses are now advertising to find 100 permanent workers in the area including administration staff, nurses, healthcare assistants, home carers and support staff.
Newcross provides healthcare staff to the public sector as well as private and individual clients.
Business centre manager Rachel Bailey said: "The Newcross launch is a fantastic opportunity for Cannock residents to have the support of a highly professional national company that operates at a local level.
"Having grown up in this region I can really understand and empathise with the healthcare needs of the area."
Steve Churches, regional operations manager, added: "Newcross Healthcare is delighted at the opening of the Cannock branch.
"As a company we are offering over 100 permanent positions for local nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers."
Newcross was founded in 1996 and now has more than 30 branches throughout the UK and employs more than 3,000 permanent members of staff.
Locally, the firm has offices in Worcester and Shrewsbury.
