Help sought in hunt for relatives of dead men
Black Country coroners officers have appealed for help in tracing close relatives of two men who have been found dead at their homes in separate incidents.
John Pellow-Walton was discovered lying on the floor of his flat in Church Road, Oldswinford on July 18.
Police had been told of concern for the 65-year-old after he failed to attend several scheduled meetings.
Reports suggest that he was a 'loner' who rarely left his home and had no known relatives. He was discovered lying dead on the floor. It is unclear how long Mr Pellow-Walton had lived there.
Officers also had to force entry to the Bassett Close, Willenhall home of Alan Lacey when neighbours became worried after not seeing him for some time. His body was found lying on a bed at the address four days after his 63rd birthday on July 21.
Extensive inquiries have failed to find trace of any next of kin for either man. Neither death is thought to be suspicious.
Anybody with information that might help the coroners officers with their investigation is asked to contact Elaine Huckfield on 0845 352 7490.
