Man arrested after bomb hoax causes rush hour chaos in West Bromwich
A West Bromwich man has been arrested after a suspicious package was left at a business premises causing traffic chaos.

A 100 metre cordon was placed around the premises in West Bromwich High Street just after 4pm on Tuesday.
Roads were closed as more than a dozen police officers secured the building, while a police sniffer dog determined if the package contained explosives.
The parcel was found to be harmless.
Roads reopened shortly before 6pm with a small cordon remaining around the premises as an investigation into the hoax was launched.
A 60-year-old man was arrested from his home address this morning and is helping police with inquiries.
