Man killed in Lichfield crash is named
A man who was killed in a car crash in Lichfield earlier this week has been named as local man Stanley Rowlands, aged 87.

The pensioner, who lived in Redlock Fields, died after his black Saab left the road and crashed into a stationary unoccupied red Ford KA in Shortbutts Lane.
Mr Rowlands was taken to Good Hope Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The accident, which took place on Tuesday, saw the road closed off for several hours while officers investigated the scene.
Witnesses should call PC Alan Smart at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 244 of February 25.
