Woman hurt in Tipton smash

A woman was taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a road sweeper today.

Police and ambulance and fire crews from Tipton and Dudley were called to Sedgley Road East in Tipton just before 7.30am.

The woman was freed by firefighters.
