Valentine's Day proposal up in lights on M6 billboard
It was a Valentine's Day to remember for Gerard Fletcher as the father of three and Walsall fan was today given a shock by his partner Lindsay Beddows who proposed on a giant electronic billboard next to the M6 at junction 8 – and he said yes.

The couple, from Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, have been together for nearly 20 years and plan to marry next May in Dorset.
It was all part of a competition run by Free Radio.
Lindsay said: "He still hasn't officially proposed to me and I'm fed up of waiting for him to do it so when me and the kids heard this competition I thought how funny it would be – although not a leap year – to do it as it is my birthday and we are getting married next year."
