Pedestrian knocked down by car in Hednesford

A pedestrian was knocked down by a car in Staffordshire today.

The incident caused delays for rush-hour drivers.

It happened on Victoria Street, Hednesford at around 7.50am.

Police say that the man, who was hit by a Daewoo Matiz, did not have to go to hospital.
