Stafford town centre library is a step closer to moving
Controversial plans to close a Stafford's main library and relocate it are a step closer to reality after council bosses backed the move.

Moving the library from the Shire Hall to the ground floor of Staffordshire Place will help to save £75,000, which includes building maintenance costs.
Chiefs at Staffordshire County Council have now backed the move but say the art gallery will remain at the Grade II-listed historic hall for the time being.
