Man threatens to jump off Stafford town centre roof
A town centre street was cordoned off by police when a man threatened to throw himself off the top of a building.

The man was discovered standing on top of the building on Greengate Street in Stafford last night.
Staffordshire Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 8.30pm and closed off the road.
Inspector Steven Wilde said: "Specialist negotiators managed to talk him down and he was taken into the safety of our custody."
