Busy A41 underpass to be closed for weeks
Resurfacing work was continuing to take place on a major West Bromwich underpass, as council chiefs confirmed it will remain closed until the middle of next month.

The underpass on the A41 Expressway, at the gateway to the town centre, has been closed since last month after an inspection revealed the £25 million road had defects in its surface.
It had been hoped that work would be completed by the end of this month, but motorists face disruption for more weeks.
The re-surfacing work is planned to be completed during the first half of February depending on weather conditions.
The borough's highways boss Councillor Maria Crompton asked members of the public to bear with the council during the work.
