West Bromwich man on shotgun charge
A West Bromwich man accused of possessing a sawn-off shotgun without a holding a certificate has appeared in court.

Wayne Monk, of Beverley Road, Stone Cross, is alleged to have had a sawn-off single-barrelled smooth bore shotgun when police visited his home on September 8.
The 37-year-old is also accused of producing cannabis, on the same date. He gave no indication of a plea to either charge when he appeared at Sandwell Magistrates Court. The case was adjourned until March 25 next year.
